I was shopping at my local Hobby Lobby when I came across a set of fat quarters that I just couldn't resist. My husband is always quick to remind me that have totes and totes full of fabric at home already, but sometimes I see fabric and I am inspired. That's what happened when I came across these fat quarters. I only purchased 2 sets at first, but I quickly realized I was going to need more. I have been driving to all the stores in my area buying up all the ones they have. I even came across a store when I was in Tennessee recently and took that as I sign that needed to go in and see if they had any of fabric too. Of course they did, and I ended up buying all they had!
This dress was one the first things that came to my mind when I saw this beautiful blue fabric. The pattern is from Pixie Faire. It is such a lovely shade and flowers on it are perfect! The yellow honey fabric made a great contrast fabric for the cute little bloomers. But my favorite part of this dress is the white collar! It made the perfect setting for the little hand-embroidered bees!
The dress has the white collar trimmed with yellow rick rack and has the hand embroidered in the center front. It closes in the back with velcro. Yellow honey bloomers have elastic in the waist and legs. The floral booties have elastic around the ankle. They are decorated with yellow bows that have bee buttons in the middle. To finish the set, there is a yellow ribbon headband with a yellow bow and bee button. Because of the bee buttons, this set is not suitable for children under the age of 5.
