Barbie Movie Inspired Dress for 18 inch dolls like American Girl, Our Generaton and My Life As
I have always been a huge Barbie fan. I started collecting Barbie dolls in my early 20's and I have several prize dolls including a Bob Mackie Empress Bride proudly on display in a mirrored case in my living room. When I first heard there was going to be a Barbie movie, I was so excited. Watching the movie, I was inspired to make outfits for 18 inch dolls like my American Girl Dolls.
The first dress is based on the dress Margot Robbie wears in the beginning of the movie. It is a pink gingham sundress with an attached white petticoat. The shoulder straps of the dress have little bows on them. The waist has a big bow on one side. It closes in the back with hook and loop tape. There is an attached white petticoat trimmed with lace that shows under the hem of the dress. The set comes with a matching hair bow for your doll's hair.
