It's almost Christmas! It's practically here! I looked at my calendar and realized that Christmas is only 14 days away. This year has gone by so fast and has brought many changes.
My family and I purchased our first home. Last year at this time we were dealing with all the things that come with escrow and finalizing the purchase. We started moving in the day after Christmas and were completely out of our apartment late New Year's Eve. This is our first Christmas in our house and we are so excited! We actually put up two Christmas trees! One artificial tree in the dining room because there is a big window overlooking the front of the house. One real tree in the living room next to the fire-place to make it easy for Santa to leave gifts under it when he visits us on Christmas Eve. The stockings that will be hung by the chimney with care are going to be made by me, each one reflecting the personality of the person they belong to. Pics will be posted as soon as they are done!
For the first time ever I have an area that is completely dedicated to sewing and creating! I have been working on getting it organized, finding all my fabrics, trims and patterns from the move, and just getting to work! Recently I posted an American Girl Doll Christmas dress that I was inspired to make. I have several more American Girl outfits to post as well!
